Contract Merchandiser

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Merchandiser to join our team in Bergen. As a Contract Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, developing and executing merchandising strategies, and maintaining relationships with vendors. This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of products
- Develop merchandising strategies to drive sales and meet customer demands
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities
- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations
- Monitor competitor activity and make strategic adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Location: This is an on-site position in Bergen, Norway. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Norway without visa sponsorship.
