Pastry Chef
We are searching for a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Ajman. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Decorate pastries and desserts to enhance their appearance
- Create new and innovative dessert menus in collaboration with the head chef
- Manage inventory of ingredients and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and restocking
- Train and supervise pastry assistants in proper techniques and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Excellent understanding of various baking techniques, methods, and ingredients
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dessert recipes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be fluent in English with good communication skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of Indian desserts is preferred but not required
Salary:
1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
