Back-End Developer


As a Back-End Developer in our growing company, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. You will collaborate with our front-end developers to ensure an efficient and seamless user experience. Your role will involve using your expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby to build scalable and secure systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain the server-side of web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure an efficient user experience
- Write clean, efficient and secure code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with database design and management (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) and server-side frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
