Preservation Architect

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural design, historical preservation techniques, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and surveys of historic buildings and structures to determine their current condition
- Developing preservation plans and strategies based on historical significance and structural integrity
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, contractors, and preservation specialists to develop restoration plans
- Ensuring that all preservation projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Overseeing the implementation of preservation plans, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to inform restoration efforts
- Using specialized tools and techniques to restore damaged or deteriorated elements of historic buildings
- Documenting all preservation work for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design and historic preservation
- Strong understanding of historical preservation techniques and materials
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in AutoCAD software (Revit experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders

Salary: 1500$ per month (based on qualifications)
