Pastry Chef in Dubai (Egyptian Nationals Preferred)


We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Dubai. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts for our restaurant. Your main duties will include designing new recipes, baking and decorating pastries, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for pastry making, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Create new pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's theme
- Prepare doughs, fillings, icings, and other pastry components from scratch
- Bake a variety of desserts including cakes, cookies, pies, and pastries
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and chocolate work
- Ensure all desserts are presented in an appealing manner
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and order supplies when needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to maintain consistency in quality
- Follow food safety standards and sanitation regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Creativity to design visually appealing desserts that taste delicious as well
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Egyptian nationality preferred but not required

Salary:
Negotiable salary up to 1200$ based on experience.
