Executive Chef - Salalah, Oman (Kenyan Nationals Preferred)
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen operations in Salalah, Oman. As a Kenyan national, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a multicultural environment while working with a team of talented chefs from around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menu offerings in line with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and presentation
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs while ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are considered an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, including Western, Middle Eastern, and African dishes
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment for candidates who excel in their role. Students on their own visa seeking part-time opportunities are also welcome. We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month along with accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance.
