Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a renowned restaurant in Beer-Sheva. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as a strong understanding of various pastry techniques and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's concept and menu
- Prepare all pastry items for service, including cakes, tarts, pies, and other desserts
- Ensure high quality standards are met in terms of taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert orders with main courses
- Manage inventory of all pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients
- Creativity and ability to develop unique dessert ideas
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required
Salary: $1000 per month
City: Beer-Sheva
Preference will be given to Malayalee candidates but all nationalities are welcome to apply. Fluency in English is required for this position.
