Instrument Technician

We are in need of an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a urgent job and we are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns in instruments and control systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex issues
- Keep detailed records of work performed and report any potential problems or safety hazards
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation technology

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC programming, and process control systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for instrument installation and maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in urgent situations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary: $1700 per month
