DevOps Developer - Svalbard



We are hiring a DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Svalbard. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for managing and automating the software development process, ensuring smooth integration of code, and optimizing the deployment process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, as well as implement and maintain best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation tools for software development processes
- Collaborate with developers to optimize code integration
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions for efficient deployment of software
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to DevOps
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
- Proficient in cloud computing technologies like AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Splunk
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary: $1200 per month (full-time)
