Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our kitchen and creating delicious and innovative dishes for our customers. You must have excellent leadership skills, a creative flair for cooking, and a passion for delivering high-quality meals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and service
- Create new menu items and regularly update existing menus based on seasonal ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new strategies to increase customer satisfaction and profitability
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presented in an attractive manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is considered an asset)
- Pakistani nationality preferred but not mandatory
