Entry-Level Carpenter in Washington, DC



We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Carpenter in Washington, DC. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for assisting with construction projects and performing a variety of tasks including measuring, cutting, and installing various materials.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with construction projects by measuring and cutting materials to the required specifications
- Install various materials such as drywall, trim, and flooring
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month

At this time, we are specifically looking for Canadian candidates who are legally eligible to work in the US. English language skills are not required for this position. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals without prior carpentry experience. Accommodation will not be provided for this job.
