Florist Assistant


We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Florist Assistant to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will assist our experienced florists in creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. You will be responsible for arranging flowers, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for flowers and a creative eye for design. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we also welcome freshers with a strong interest in floristry. This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1800 per month.

As a Florist Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting our experienced florists in creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Preparing and arranging flowers according to customer requests and preferences.
- Maintaining the shop's inventory by ordering new supplies when needed and ensuring that all flowers are fresh and of high quality.
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their inquiries, and taking orders over the phone or in person.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as recording sales, managing orders, and scheduling deliveries.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

- A passion for flowers and floral design.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality arrangements.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Previous experience working as a florist assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- A creative eye for design and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work on weekends or during peak seasons when needed.
