Blast Furnace Operator

As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to produce iron or steel. Your main duties will include monitoring the furnace temperature and adjusting the controls as needed, loading materials into the furnace, and removing slag from the furnace. You will also be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and reporting any maintenance needs. This is a physically demanding job that requires you to work in hot and noisy conditions. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of safety procedures and are able to follow strict guidelines to ensure the safe operation of the furnace.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in blast furnace operation preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to work in hot and noisy conditions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (Preference for Indian or Malayalee candidates)

Employment Type: Contract (without accommodation)

Working Hours: Full-time, flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
