Tiler Technician

We are a construction company based in Triesen, and we are currently seeking an experienced Tiler Technician to join our team. As a Tiler Technician, you will be responsible for installing tiles and other finishing materials on floors, walls, and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before tiling
- Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and in tight spaces
- Lay tiles in a neat and uniform pattern
- Mix and apply adhesive to secure tiles in place
- Level and align tiles using tools such as spirit levels
- Fill gaps between tiles with grout and remove excess grout
- Install tile borders, trim, or other decorative elements
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles
- Clean and polish tiled surfaces for a finished look

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler Technician
- In-depth knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, grouts, and other materials used in tiling
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship
- Good communication skills
Preferred:
- Malayalee nationality or ability to speak Malayalam
- Previous experience working on English speaking job sites
- Experience working on contract jobs with accommodation provided
