Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Almada. You will be a key member of the hotel's management team, working closely with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the hotel's overall goals and objectives. Your main duties will include identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating contracts and rates, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and group bookings.
To excel in this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field, preferably in Almada or the surrounding area. You should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales plans. A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is also essential.
This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, plus commission based on performance. Please note that accommodation is not provided as part of this role. Hotel Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue for the hotel
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through excellent customer service
- Negotiate contracts and rates with corporate clients, tour operators, travel agents, event planners, etc.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure successful execution of events and group bookings
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare and analyze sales reports and present them to the management team
Hotel Sales Manager Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
