Heavy Equipment Operator


We are in search of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duty will be to ensure that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on all equipment before use
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and placement of materials with the use of heavy equipment
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete tasks accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to all safety regulations while operating equipment
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety protocols for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Salary:
$1600 per month

Contract Type:
This is a contract position.

Experience:
