Experienced Formworker in Eschen, Switzerland


We are currently seeking an experienced Formworker to join our construction team in Eschen, Switzerland. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for setting up and assembling the temporary structures that hold concrete in place until it hardens. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of formwork materials
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalk lines, etc.
- Cut, shape and fit materials to formwork specifications using hand or power tools
- Assemble and install temporary structures according to established safety procedures
- Pour and spread concrete into formwork using shovels or other tools
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete (e.g. smoothing with trowels)
- Remove forms once concrete has hardened and clean up work area
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of formwork systems
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Fluent in English (knowledge of German is an asset)

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. The salary is $1100 per month with accommodation provided. We also offer visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens. This position is open to both Kenyan nationals and foreigners.
