Indian Pastry Chef in Atlanta
We are seeking a skilled Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that reflect the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine. Your main duties will include preparing and baking a variety of sweets, creating new recipes, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian desserts and pastries
- Knowledge of traditional Indian ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing dessert presentations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Good communication skills in English
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus for all dessert offerings based on seasonal availability and customer demand
- Prepare, bake, decorate, and present all desserts according to established recipes and plating specifications
- Create new dessert recipes that incorporate traditional Indian ingredients and techniques
- Ensure all desserts are made with high-quality ingredients
- Maintain proper inventory levels of ingredients for desserts
- Train other kitchen staff on proper pastry techniques
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure menu cohesiveness
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times
Salary: $1700 per month
