Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant. You must have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes that will delight our guests. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel. You must also possess excellent time management skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in pastry techniques
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry station
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu concepts
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create visually appealing dishes that also taste delicious
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail for plating and presentation
- Ability to train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff
