Architectural Technologist - Contract Position in Os, Norway



We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist for a contract position in Os, Norway. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting architects and engineers in the design and construction of buildings and structures. Your main duties will include creating detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software, conducting site visits to gather measurements and information, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possess strong technical skills, and be able to work independently. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

Salary: 1500$ per month

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and information
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and standards
- Review project plans for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong technical skills including knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preference will be given to candidates who have their own valid visa or are eligible for one. Accommodation can be provided if needed. This is a contract position for a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
