Entry Level Tiler in Washington, Canada


We are seeking an Entry Level Tiler to join our team in Washington, Canada. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in tiling. As an Entry Level Tiler, you will assist experienced tilers with various tasks such as measuring and cutting tiles, preparing surfaces for tiling, mixing and applying adhesives and grout, and cleaning up work areas.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut and shape tiles using hand tools or tile cutting machines
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, filling in cracks, and leveling surfaces
- Mix and apply adhesives and grout
- Lay tiles in a pattern or design according to specifications
- Clean up work areas after completing tiling projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in tiling is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for measuring and marking surfaces accurately
- Ability to use hand tools and tile cutting machines safely
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Willingness to learn from experienced tilers

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1300 per month, along with accommodation provided by the company.
