Glazier Supervisor
Location: Oslo, Norway


As a Glazier Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in various structures. You will lead a team of glaziers and ensure that all projects are completed on time and to high quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of glaziers on construction sites
- Train new glaziers on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Review project plans and prepare materials needed for installation or repair
- Measure, cut, and install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
- Repair or replace broken glass as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape glass or create frames for installation
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations on glass types or designs
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a glazier or in a similar role
- Proven experience in leading a team of glaziers
- Strong knowledge of glass types, cutting techniques, and installation methods
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, or schematics for project planning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other contractors on site
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, etc.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
