Live-in Caregiver in Nairobi, Kenya

A reputable home care agency in Nairobi is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide quality care to their clients. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate must have a caring attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming and dressing
- Administer medications according to the client's care plan
- Prepare nutritious meals based on the client's dietary restrictions
- Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients
- Provide transportation for appointments and errands as needed
- Keep track of client's health status and report any changes to the supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English (Kiswahili is an asset)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be willing to live-in with the client at their home
