Part-Time Executive Chef

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. This role is based in Oslo, Norway and does not include accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation guidelines
- Create new menus and dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and appeal to our customers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked and presented according to established recipes and plating standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or equivalent role
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
