Formworker vacancy in Alta Norway

Formworker

A reputable construction company in Alta is seeking a reliable and hardworking Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and installing concrete forms for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand and power tools to construct wooden or metal forms
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and join materials together to form molds for concrete pouring
- Align and brace forms in place using various methods such as screws, nails, or clamps
- Install rebar or wire mesh within forms as needed
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth out surface using trowels or other tools
- Remove forms after concrete has cured and clean up work area

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Formworker or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Own transportation is preferred but not required

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $900 per week.

Location:
This job is located in Alta, Norway. Applicants must either have their own visa or be eligible to work in Norway.
