Junior Architectural Designer
We are currently hiring a Junior Architectural Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Junior Architectural Designer, you will work under the supervision of senior designers and architects to assist with the design, planning, and construction of projects. This is a contract position with the opportunity for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers and architects to develop design concepts and plans
- Create 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Assist with site analysis, building surveys, and code research
- Attend client meetings and present design proposals
- Prepare presentation materials such as renderings, models, and presentation boards
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
- Support project managers in developing project schedules and budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in architectural design or drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
