IT Manager - Alta, Norway


As an IT Manager at our company in Alta, Norway, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and managing a team of IT professionals. Your main goal will be to ensure that our company's technology systems and processes are efficient, secure, and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technology strategies and plans to support the overall goals of the company.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including budget planning and resource allocation.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure data security and disaster recovery protocols are in place and regularly tested.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions to support their operations.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the industry to continuously improve our systems.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology management.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, database management, and cloud computing.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team of IT professionals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Norwegian data privacy laws.

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience).
