Instrument Technician
Our company, located in Isa Town, is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a salary of 1800$ and be provided with accommodation and visa sponsorship.
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems in industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting issues, conducting routine inspections, and performing calibrations and adjustments.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems as well as knowledge of industry-specific instrumentation. A background in engineering or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems
- Perform calibrations and adjustments as needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role (experience in industrial settings preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems
- Knowledge of industry-specific instrumentation (e.g. pressure gauges, flow meters)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail
