Interpreter and Translator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter and Translator to join our team in Remish, Kenya. As an Interpreter and Translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating spoken and written communication between English and the local language.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between English-speaking individuals and those who speak the local language
- Interpret conversations, meetings, conferences, and other events from English to the local language
- Translate written documents, such as reports or emails, from English to the local language
- Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all translations
- Maintain confidentiality in all interpreted or translated information
- Collaborate with other interpreters or translators to ensure consistency in translations

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and the local language (written and spoken)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and nuances
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field preferred

Salary:
We offer a salary of 1000$ per month for this position.

We are able to provide visa sponsorship for non-Kenyan candidates if needed.

Location:
This position is based in Remish, Kenya. Preference will be given to Kenyan candidates.
