Restaurant Manager - Acre, Kenya



We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team in Acre, Kenya. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Train and supervise restaurant staff on best practices for customer service.
- Create schedules for employees to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items or improve existing ones.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain proper stock levels and minimize waste.
- Manage budgeting, purchasing, and cost control for the restaurant.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing arrangements in Acre.
