Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases. This includes creating, organizing, and securing data to ensure efficient and effective use by our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration and a strong understanding of database management systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, with accommodation provided. Filipino nationality preferred but not required. Fluent English is not necessary for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Create and maintain backup procedures for databases
- Develop and implement security measures to protect data
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize database functionality
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular maintenance tasks such as data cleanup and updates
- Provide technical support to users regarding database management
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. The salary for this role is 1500$ per month, with accommodation provided. The selected candidate will be working in Siauliai, Lithuania.
