A leading library in St-Petersburg is seeking a highly motivated and organized Contract Librarian to join our team. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library's collection, providing assistance to patrons, and ensuring the smooth operation of the library.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cataloguing, organizing, and shelving books and other materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assisting patrons with finding resources and answering reference questions
- Managing interlibrary loans and coordinating with other libraries
- Overseeing the maintenance of library equipment and facilities
- Creating engaging displays and promoting library services to increase patron engagement
- Collaborating with other librarians to plan programs and events for all ages
- Staying up-to-date with new trends in librarianship through professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Ability to work independently on a contract basis without accommodation provided
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse populations effectively
- Fluent English language skills required; knowledge of Russian is a plus
- Must have valid visa sponsorship or ability to obtain necessary work permits
