Welder


As a welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using specialized equipment and techniques. Your role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and operating welding machinery to fuse the pieces together. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals, to create structures or repair damaged components. The job may require you to work in various positions, such as standing or kneeling, and in confined spaces.

To excel in this role, you must have experience in welding and be able to read technical drawings accurately. You should also possess a good understanding of different welding techniques and the ability to operate various welding equipment safely. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this position.

This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will be provided as part of the contract agreement. This role is open to candidates from Pakistan or other African countries who have experience in welding and are fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely
- Join metal pieces using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a welder
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Proficient in different welding techniques
- Familiarity with various welding equipment (MIG welders, plasma cutters, etc.)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English is required
