Excavator Operator (Part-Time) in Svalbard

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators in a safe and efficient manner. Your duties will include excavating, loading, and transporting materials, as well as performing routine maintenance on the equipment. You will also be required to follow all safety protocols and regulations while completing tasks.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid certification or license for operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, or other specified areas according to construction plans
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or into designated areas using the excavator's bucket
- Transport materials to designated locations within the construction site
- Perform routine maintenance on the excavator, such as checking fluid levels, greasing parts, and replacing worn parts when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the equipment
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Keep track of daily activities, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The schedule will vary depending on project needs.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in Svalbard or are willing to relocate.
