Restaurant Manager in Oslo, Norway
We are searching for an experienced and customer-oriented Restaurant Manager to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and hosts/hostesses
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure proper coverage
- Oversee food and beverage inventory management
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the chef to create menu offerings and specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experience
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
- Must be authorized to work in Norway with valid visa or work permit
