Light driver vacancy in Al-Khor Qatar

Light Driver

A reputable transportation company in Al-Khor is seeking a skilled Light Driver to join our team. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining light vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks for the purpose of transporting goods or passengers. This position requires someone who is reliable, punctual and has excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate light vehicles to transport goods or passengers to designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Carry out daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to the supervisor
- Ensure all necessary documentation such as logbook, fuel consumption records are accurately maintained
- Keep the vehicle clean and perform basic maintenance tasks such as refueling, tire pressure checks, etc.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods if required
- Respond promptly to any on-road emergencies or accidents
- Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for light vehicles (Category 3)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a light vehicle driver in Qatar
- Good knowledge of Qatar roads and traffic laws
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Physically fit with good eyesight and reflexes
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire rotation, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

We offer competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with benefits such as visa sponsorship, annual leave, and medical insurance. Accommodation will not be provided.
