Head Chef
We are hiring an experienced and creative Head Chef to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will also be responsible for maintaining high quality standards and ensuring a consistently excellent dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus that reflect our restaurant's style and vision
- Lead and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
- Oversee food ordering, inventory management, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train new kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service
- Regularly review and update menus based on customer feedback, market trends, and seasonal ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and international cuisines
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes while adhering to budget constraints
- Understanding of food cost control measures to maximize profitability
- Familiarity with health codes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English
