Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Braga. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials according to specific job requirements. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use
- Ensure proper care and storage of equipment when not in use
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Communicate with team members and supervisors effectively

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid biometric passport (non-negotiable)
- Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed

Preferred:
- Certification or training in operating heavy machinery
- Experience with different types of excavation projects (e.g. road construction, building foundations)
- Familiarity with GPS systems for precision digging
