Excavator Operator


As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently operate the excavator to perform tasks like digging trenches, loading trucks, and clearing debris. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the equipment.

Key Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans

Responsibilities:

- Operate the excavator in a safe and efficient manner according to job site requirements
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the equipment and report any issues to the supervisor
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine proper excavation techniques
- Dig trenches, load trucks, and clear debris as needed using the excavator
- Collaborate with other team members on job sites to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Salary:
$1700 per month

Braga, Portugal
