Junior QA Engineer

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products in Bergen. You will work closely with our development team to design and execute test plans, identify and report any bugs or issues, and help troubleshoot any problems that arise during the testing process. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:

- Design and create test plans based on software requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure proper functionality
- Identify and report any bugs or issues using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with development team to troubleshoot and resolve any problems found during testing
- Conduct regression tests to ensure previous issues have been addressed
- Document all test results and provide feedback to the development team
- Continuously improve and maintain the quality assurance process

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing, preferably in a web-based environment
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or QTP
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
