Senior Accountant - Chelyabinsk, Russia


We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Chelyabinsk, Russia. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial reports and budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly and annual closing processes
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor expenses and create budgets for various departments
- Provide support for audits by external parties

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Russia
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Russian language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
