Junior Petroleum Engineer - Lusail, Qatar


We are currently hiring a Junior Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Junior Petroleum Engineer, you will assist in the development and implementation of drilling plans and production strategies for oil and gas wells.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and analysis to identify potential oil and gas reserves
- Creating drilling plans, including well design, location selection, and cost estimation
- Monitoring well performance and making adjustments as needed
- Collaborating with geologists and other technical experts to optimize production processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Assisting in the evaluation of new technologies and techniques for drilling and production
- Participating in field operations as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred but not required for freshers
- Knowledge of drilling techniques, well completion methods, and reservoir engineering
- Familiarity with software used in petroleum engineering such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data
- Good communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team
