Facade Engineer


We are a construction company based in Os, looking for a skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of exterior building facades. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for sustainable design to work on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop facade designs that meet structural, aesthetic, and sustainability requirements
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing conditions and develop plans for facade installation or renovation
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and models of facade systems
- Select appropriate materials for facade construction based on cost, durability, aesthetics, and environmental impact
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of facade components by contractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines
- Conduct regular inspections of facade systems during construction to identify any issues or deviations from design plans
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure successful completion of projects within budget and schedule constraints
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in facade design and construction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Facade Engineer in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles as they relate to building facades
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building certifications (LEED)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to travel for site visits as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month, with the possibility of bonuses based on project performance.

Location:
This is a contract position based in Os, with the potential for remote work depending on project needs.
