Seamstress


We are in need of a skilled Seamstress to join our team in Nairobi. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating and repairing garments using various techniques and tools. Your main duties will include taking measurements, cutting fabrics, sewing, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Previous experience as a Seamstress or similar role is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Take accurate measurements of clients to ensure proper fit
- Cut fabrics according to patterns or measurements
- Sew garments using various techniques such as hand stitching, machine sewing, or serging
- Repair or alter finished garments as needed
- Inspect final product for quality and accuracy
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Strong knowledge of sewing techniques and tools such as scissors, needles, and sewing machines
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements accurately
- Attention to detail and high level of precision when working on projects
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changes
- Foreign candidates with relevant experience are welcome
