Baker - Pastry Chef


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Baker - Pastry Chef to join our team in Lom, Egypt. As a Baker - Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and producing a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts for our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creativity to develop new recipes while also being able to follow existing recipes accurately. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, open to both men and women.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce various pastry items such as cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts
- Develop new recipes and ideas for seasonal and specialty items
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
- Ensure quality control by consistently producing high-quality products
- Clean work area and equipment regularly to maintain sanitation standards
- Train new staff members on baking techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to create new menu items or improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, methods, and ingredients
- Creativity in developing new recipes while also being able to follow existing ones accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification in Baking or Pastry Arts
- Experience working in a bakery setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
