Restaurant Manager - Malindi, Kenya



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our busy establishment in Malindi, Kenya. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.

Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service
- Create schedules and assign tasks to maintain an efficient workflow
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Manage finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reviewing financial reports
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1500 per month
