Concierge Coordinator


The Concierge Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the front desk operations at a luxury hotel in the bustling city of Oslo, Norway. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and grace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest information
- Manage inventory of supplies and amenities for guest rooms
- Schedule and oversee the work of concierge staff members
- Create weekly schedules for concierge team based on occupancy levels
- Train new concierge staff members on hotel policies and procedures
- Monitor daily expenses to ensure budget is maintained
- Collaborate with hotel management to develop strategies for improving guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a front desk or concierge role at a luxury hotel
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with reservation software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of local attractions, events, and services in Oslo
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have legal authorization to work in Norway
