Restaurant Manager in Monte-Carlo
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team in Monte-Carlo. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly
- Train and develop staff to provide exceptional service to our guests
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of fresh ingredients
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback
- Keep track of sales figures and make strategic decisions to increase revenue
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, ordering supplies, and maintaining records
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end or fine dining establishment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen operations
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and other financial aspects of running a restaurant
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
