Part-Time Instrument Technician
As a Part-Time Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in a laboratory or industrial setting. This position is ideal for someone who has experience as an Instrument Technician and is looking for flexible part-time work. You will work closely with the full-time Instrument Technician to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and are meeting industry standards. This position offers a salary of 1200$ per month and includes accommodation in Monte-Carlo.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on various instruments such as spectrometers, thermometers, and flow meters
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards
- Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed
- Assist full-time Instrument Technician with any tasks or projects as needed
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when working with instruments
- Keep inventory of spare parts and request replacements when necessary
- Communicate any potential issues or concerns to the full-time Instrument Technician
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician preferred
- Knowledge of different types of instruments commonly used in a laboratory or industrial setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various instrument issues
- Familiarity with industry standards for instrument calibration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed
