Part-Time Baker
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Baker to join our bakery team in Monte-Carlo. As a part-time baker, your main responsibility will be preparing and baking various types of bread, pastries, and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards. You will also assist with inventory management, cleaning and maintaining the bakery equipment, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the work area.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a baker in a commercial or professional bakery setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good physical stamina, as this job involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy trays or bags of flour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, icings, etc. according to recipes
- Bake various types of breads (e.g. sourdough, baguettes), pastries (e.g. croissants, tarts), cakes, cookies, etc.
- Decorate pastries/cakes with icing or toppings as needed
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust accordingly
- Assist with inventory management (e.g. ordering ingredients)
- Clean and maintain bakery equipment (e.g. mixers, ovens)
- Ensure overall cleanliness of work area including counters, floors, etc.
- Follow all food safety standards and regulations
